Northwest-Southwest Community Prosecutor

David joined the Dallas City Attorney’s Office in 2016 and currently serves as a Northwest/Southwest Division Community Prosecutor.  David received his law degree from UCLA School of Law where he served as a comments editor on the UCLA Law Review.  He received a BA in History from The University of Texas at Austin.  Before joining the CAO, he worked as a staff attorney in the general counsel’s office of an asbestos settlement trust and as an associate in a small civil-litigation firm.  Before law school, he also served as a DISD teacher.   David is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas LGBT Bar Association, and is active with the Friends of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
