Central Community Prosecutor

Melody joined the Dallas City Attorney’s Office in 2011 and currently serves as the Central Division Community Prosecutor and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. Melody received her law degree from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville where she received numerous moot court honors. She received her undergraduate degree from Howard University where she received an undergraduate mock trial team scholarship and received numerous mock trial honors. Prior to joining the CAO, she was a paralegal specialist at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas.
