Municipal Prosecution Section

Marlo Obera is an Assistant City Attorney with the Municipal Prosecution Section of the Dallas City Attorney’s Office. Marlo represents the State of Texas and the City of Dallas in the prosecution of Class C misdemeanors and violations of municipal ordinances in the Dallas Municipal Court. Class C misdemeanors include traffic offenses, assault, public intoxication, and theft, among others. Prosecutors are responsible for criminal and civil litigation in eleven courtrooms, including civil appeals to the Municipal Court.

Before entering joining the City Attorney’s Office, Marlo had a successful career in the health insurance industry working with one of the largest health insurance companies in the world.
